Message List
The Message List details all the individual messages in your Outlook folders; placing a checkmark in a message's checkbox selects that message for date modification or deletion.
The Message List comprises four columns: Subject, Modified Date, Received Date, and Sent Date. Clicking on the Subject column header will arrange the messages in alphabetical order by Subject; clicking on one of the date headers will arrange the messages in chronological order by that date category. Subsequent clicks of the column headers will reverse the sort order.
Right-clicking on a message, or on a group of messages, will open a Context Menu ("Popup Menu") over the Message List, providing easy access to the commands from the Select, Modify, and Delete portions of the main Menu.
Double clicking on a message will open that message so you can verify its contents if you need to decide whether a message should be selected for deletion or modification.
Note that the status bar shows the number of messages selected in the List view.
